Following the recent dissolution of all zonal executive by the National Chairman, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Anieboinam, in the last NEC meeting held in Lagos State, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi has emerged the National Vice Chairman (South West) of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
Odeyemi, who emerged as a consensus candidate from Osun State had the support of all the SouthWest chairmen from the six states of the zone as they voted overwhelmingly for him.
In his acceptance speech after the inauguration of the new leadership of the party in the zone, Odeyemi expressed gratitude to other state chairmen for the confidence reposed in him. He promised to reposition the party and work hard to move it forward and make it stronger ahead of Osun and Ekiti governorship 2022 and general elections in 2023, stressing that he needed the support of all and sundry for the realization these lofty goals.
Odeyemi said in the next few weeks and pending the conduct of zonal congress, NNPP would witness massive transformation, assuring that the new zonal executives would not betray the trust and faith reposed in them.
