Osun NNPP disown Ajadi, says he is an impostor

Leadership and members of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Osun state has disassociated themselves from one Comrade Olufemi Ajadi, who is parading himself as the presidential aspirant of the party.

In a statement personally signed by Osun NNPP chairman, Dr. Tosin Odeyemi, he described Ajadi as an impostor trying to reap where he did not sow.

Odeyemi said "I was surprised reading on the pages of newspaper about one Comrade Olufemi Ajadi, who is parading himself as our party's presidential aspirant.

"What baffled me most was his claim of receiving some group of youths from Oriade and Obokun local governments in Osun State some days ago.

"How on earth will somebody who has no name in our party's register in Osun, let alone known by me as chairman or any member of the party in Oriade and Obokun, be claiming our membership?

"I wish to state equivocably that we do not know Ajadi in Osun NNPP, he is not one of us, we are not aware of his candidature, he is an impostor trying to take glory where he did not sow.

"Therefore, I am using this medium to warn him and his co-travellers to desist, they should leave Osun out of their mischievous acts. Osun NNPP is one and indivisible, we wont hesitate to take legal actions against them if they persist"
